Replace Generator Set 1, Bldg. 001, NAS Lemoore, CA

1.2.1 Project Description

The work includes Removal and replacement of existing generator,

automatic transfer switch (ATS) and fuel tank. New equipment to installed

on new fenced concrete pad. and incidental related work.

Demo:

1. Remove existing generator, automatic transfer switch, fuel tank per and

appertinaces per plans and specifications.

2. Clean up and dispose of construction refuge per NAS

Lemoore requirements.

Construction:

1. Excavate and grade new location for concrete pad per plans and

specicfications.

2. Provide and maintaing a temporary backup generator to Buiding 7 ATS.

3. Intercept undergroung service to Building 7. Install underground pull

box, conduit and wire to new generator location per plans and specifications.

4. Install new concrete pad per plans and specifications.

5. Install new 350 kW SJVAPCD Teir 4 final generator set, 277/480 V

automatic transfer switch and 500 Gal fuel day tank per plans and

specifications.

6. Install new conduit and wiring per plans and specifications.

7. Provide all necessary wire connections per plans and specifications.

8. Install new fencing per plans and specifications.

9. Install CMU blocking within opening on existing building per plans and

specifications.

10. Perform operational check and training to NAS Lemoore PW staff .

11. Clean up and dispose of construction refuge per NAS

Lemoore requirements.

12.Provide NAVFAC Facilities Engineering and Acquisitions Division (FEAD)CM

with As-built drawings, Contractor daily reports and required documentation

as specified to complete the scope of work.
