Plagiarism Software Tool

The University at Buffalo intends to procure a Plagiarism Software Tool pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law §163(6) and NYS Education Law §355 (5)(a). This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State businesses certified pursuant to Article 15-A of the New York State Executive Law. The University at Buffalo (“University”) is seeking the below services:

• Product purpose-built to support plagiarism/AI checking and peer review in a higher-education environment.
• Shibboleth or AD Federated Services (ADFS) authentication available and sufficient to authenticate all service modules or components (web applications, smart device apps, etc.)
• UB retains ownership of all user-generated content on the hosted system and vendor agrees to seek UB permission prior to sharing UB generated content with third-party entities.
• System provides the ability to import custom libraries of assignments from Blackboard Safe Assign.
• System provides AI detection along with plagiarism checking.
• Proven LTI 1.3 integration with D2L - Brightspace Learning Management System
• Implementation must include ability to migrate document library from Blackboard SafeAssign
