Description: College Students deserve a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment free from discrimination and abuse. Yet, we know that sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking (gender-based violence or GBV) on college campuses is occurring at high rates. Therefore, in 2015, New York State established the Enough is Enough (EIE) law and funding program to address GBV on college campuses. To support the work of EIE funded programs, OPDV also funds the Enough is Enough Training & Technical Assistance Center (EIE TTA Center). The EIE TTA Center is a vital part of executing the vision of the Enough is Enough Law. By assessing the needs of EIE Grantees and providing them relevant training, the knowledge and capacity of the programs that work directly on campuses will improve student safety and awareness of GBV. Students will have better access to information about rights and options if they experience harm and the campus community will be more aware of GBV and how to prevent abuse from occurring in the first place. The EIE TTA Center provides training, technical assistance and resources to EIE Grantees that are located in urban, suburban, and rural communities throughout NYS. The training, technical assistance, and resources provided by the EIE TTA Center will address all topics related to survivor-centered, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive GBV services and GBV prevention activities within college/university campus communities located in the EIE Grantee’s geographic areas, as well as in the local community. The EIE TTA Center will also support EIE Grantee leadership to improve sustainable governance of comprehensive GBV victim services. The training and technical assistance will be provided through statewide trainings and meetings offered both virtually and in-person, facilitated by both the vendor and other subject matter experts as needed. The EIE TTA Center will operate and maintain the EIE TTA Center website where EIE Grantees can access information about the latest developments in the area of campus related GBV. In addition, written and recorded resources and tools to enhance the work of the EIE Grantees will be developed and made available to the EIE through this project. OPDV will fund one grant totaling up to $750,000.00 for the contract period May 1, 2025 – April 30, 2028. Applications will be accepted from NYS or nationally based not-for-profit organizations affiliated in the ways listed in the RFP.
