Description: The University at Albany, SUNY is seeking information regarding potential Media Asset Management Systems for their Office of Communication and Marketing (OCM). This is a Request for Information (RFI) - THIS IS NOT A BID. The University's OCM currently has very large files stored on a network share drive. The maximum amount of storage able to be provided by the University has been reached. OCM needs a sustainable solution for editing and cataloging files and metadata. OCM wants to avoid having to download, upload, etc. and seeks to share and edit the same files collaboratively. Vendors are invited to submit hardware and software information that will provide a Media Asset Management System (MAM) to replace their current workflow and storage system.
