The City of Sedgwick, KS is inviting Bids for the Work involving the new construction of Sedgwick Fire-EMS Station #31 in Sedgwick, KS as designated in the Bid Documents.

BG Consultants’ Project No. 25-1172

BG Consultants will receive bids on behalf of the City of Sedgwick, KS for a Contract for the Project. Qualified General Contractors may submit as the General Contractor for this Work.

Bids will be accepted by the following methods: 1) submitted in a sealed envelope delivered to Sedgwick City Hall at 520 N Commercial Ave., Sedgwick, KS 67135 by the above time . Bids received after this time will not be accepted.

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud by BG Consultants in Sedgwick City Hall at 520 N Commercial Ave., Sedgwick, KS 67135 on the above date at 10:15am.

Bidding Documents may be examined and obtained online, on or after Thursday, August 28, 2025 , via the Drexel Technologies, Inc. Planroom, http://projectbids.drexeltech.com/ , Bidding Documents may also be examined upon request at BG Consultants, Inc., located at 4806 Vue du Lac Pl., Manhattan, KS 66503. Requests shall be made to Grant Urban, Project Architect, (785) 320-2660.

All Bidders are subject to and must comply with applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bidding.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the above time , located at Sedgwick City Hall, 520 N Commercial Ave., Sedgwick, KS 67135, immediately followed by a tour of the project scope areas.

Bidders are encouraged to visit the site upon request prior to the Bid opening to satisfy themselves with the existing conditions. Requests shall be made to Kyle Nordick, City Administrator, City of Sedgwick, KS, knordick@cityofsedgwick.org , (316) 772-5151. No allowances shall be made to bidders for negligence for not visiting the site.

Bids shall not contain any recapitulation of the work to be done. No oral, telegraphic, or telephonic proposals or modification will be considered.

All bids shall be submitted sealed in envelopes and titled:
