The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to Serco Corporation of New London, Connecticut for the research, development, and technology upgrades for Advanced Undersea Technologies in the area of Active Sonar Signal Processing including Continuous Undersea Technologies.
The resulting contract is awarded via full and open competition (See FAR 35.016). Serco submitted a White Paper in response to Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for Advanced Undersea Technologies N00024-17-IWS5A-01, posted on 16 March 2023. Serco was notified that their submitted White Papers would be pursued to Phase II in the form of a Request for Proposal on 13 June 2024.
The anticipated contract award date will be in Q3 FY25 and the period of performance will consist of a base year and four option years.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
