PRIMARY FEATURES: The 66th Security Forces Squadron has a 7 lane firing range and require shooting stalls to divide each firing point. These stalls need to have the capability to mount each target controller. Each stall should be ballistically rated to contain 5.56mm and 9mm frangible ammunition. The material for the walls should be made from ballistic glass giving the instructors the capability to monitor all students on the 7 point firing line. Stalls must be installed to meet the minimum 4ft requirement for each firing point and the end stalls must be at least 2 ft from the side walls.
WORK DESCRIPTION / SPECIFICATIONS: The following characteristics must be met for the Shooting stalls: • Must be able to provide new stalls for all 7 lanes. • Contractor must remove/dispose of existing shooting stalls • Led Lights capable of dimming with white light and red/blue lights. • Folding table for horizontal support. • Vertical barricade that can easily swing out or stowed and has a horizontal support incorporated (This support is to simulate shooting on the left or right side of a wall in the standing or kneeling position). Must be able to support shooter leaning on barricade during firing. • Must attach control panel for retrievers. • Glass Panel: Comply with UL 752 for Level 3, EN1063 BR4(S), and EN1063 BR5(S) • Manufacturer warrants products to be free from manufacturing defects. The warranty will cover both parts and labor for a period of three years. • Manufacturer Qualifications: Company specializing in manufacturing products specified in this section with a minimum 10 years documented experience.Equipment Installer Qualifications: Company specializing in performing Work of this section. Minimum five years documented experience with projects of similar scope and complexity. • Finish on Exposed Steel: Powder coated • Frame: Ballistic rated construction compliant with UL752 for level 3, 5, 7, and 8.
