The American Medical Association (AMA)is the industry source of record for the Current Procedural Terminology (CPT)code set. The CPT codes form the basis for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)medical purchases on behalf of customers and are essential for compliance with 40TAC § 856.57.

AMA CPT and use or reprinting of CPT inany product or publication requires a license. Any individual or entity using CPTcontent needs permission or a license (i.e., an end-user agreement, end userlicense agreement, or other written agreement authorizing use of CPT codes fromthe AMA or an authorized distributor).
