Description
Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials and supervision necessary to replace the existing fire alarm system with a new campus wide fire alarm system in accordance with the plans and specifications provided. The new system must be nonproprietary meaning the manufacture allows fair and open competition between vendors selling the fire alarm devices. The manufacturer of the new system must provide certified maintenance and repair training for 2 of the VA s maintenance personnel in order to keep the majority of the system maintenance in house. Work to be completed within 270 calendar days from notice to proceed.
