Long Lane Improvement Project

Project Description: Notice is hereby given that the East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors, Lancaster County, 190 Rock Point Road, Marietta, PA 17547, will accept bids for the following contract until 11:00 a.m., July 24, 2025, and will be opened on PennBid (pennbid.bonfirehub.com). Hand delivered, mailed, and faxed bids will not be accepted. All bids are to be submitted online through the PennBid website (pennbid.bonfirehub.com):
The Long Lane Improvement Project includes converting the intersection of Long Lane at River Road (SR 0441) from full movement to a restricted right turn out only onto River Road. Associated improvements include removal of existing roadway, installation of new signage, and storm drainage. East Donegal Township has acquired PennDOT HOP and PA DEP permits. East Donegal Township has Long Lane is closed to traffic and established a detour.
Bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total base bid payable to "East Donegal Township" shall accompany each bid; to be forfeited as liquidated damages should the bidder default in execution of the contract within 10 days after notice of award of same. The non-collusion affidavit must be executed and submitted with the bid. The project cost is greater than $25,000 and shall be bid utilizing PA Prevailing Wage Rates. A completed Public Works Employment Verification Form shall be submitted with the bid package. The Township reserves the right to waive irregularities in, or reject any and all bids.
No pre-bid conference will be held.
