Description
The City of Port Alberni (CPA) is seeking tenders for the installation of a new dehumidifier and associated energy recovery systems at the Alberni Valley Multiplex Arena. This project aims to enhance energy efficiency, reduce natural gas consumption, and improve arena conditions while lowering operating costs. The City of Port Alberni has pre-ordered the dehumidifier with a LOI to ensure it enters the production queue, and the specified unit is scheduled to arrive on-site on June 18, 2025. The PO will transfer from the CPA to the successful contractor as soon as the contract is awarded with the selected contractor being responsible for the supply, installation and integration of the dehumidifier with the existing systems at the arena.
