Title Foreclosure Services

The Office of the Assessor-Treasurer is requesting proposals for an estimated annual provision of approximately 300 to 400 title reports. This department, as well as several other Pierce County Departments, require title reports throughout the year for various annual processes. Due to the legal nature of these processes, it is essential that the reports are accurate, precise, and delivered in a timely manner based on the need.

The Office of the Assessor-Treasurer is unique as we are the only combined Assessor and Treasurer’s office in the State of Washington. The business processes resulting from this combination make us responsible for statutory requirements related to both the assessment and taxation of properties, including collection enforcement.

The County has over 350,000 tax parcels consisting of a mix of residential, commercial, industrial, mobile homes, state assessed, and personal property (business equipment). Pierce County is located along the shores of Puget Sound in Western Washington, just south of Seattle and is within the Seattle Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
