Project Description: Competitive Sealed Proposals (“Proposals”) for the WRMC Coliseum, Burnett and Moncrief Roof Replacement located at 3401 W. Lancaster Avenue in Fort Worth, TX 76102 in Fort Worth Texas will be received thru the Bonfire Website https://fortworthtexas.bonfirehub.com/login until 2:00 P.M on Thursday, February 13, 2025, and will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately thereafter in the Council Chambers, located at 200 Texas Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102.
A Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Suite T105, 200 Texas Street, Old City Hall. Please enter at the Northeast corner of the building.
The last day for questions from prospective Proposers is at 5:00 PM on Friday, February 7, 2025.
After evaluating the Proposals submitted, the City shall select the Proposer that offers the best value to the City and enter into negotiations with that firm.
Proposals shall be valid for ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) calendar days. Estimated construction cost is approximately $11,000,000.00. There is one Alternate for this project.
Proposals shall include a 7.5% Owner’s Contingency Allowance based on Proposer’s costs proposal on a separate line item on the Proposal form. This Allowance is not to be included in the Base Proposal but will be included in the contract amount at the appropriate time. Only the Owner may use of this allowance during construction. Any Allowance remaining at the end of construction will be retained by the City of Fort Worth.

The Business Equity participation goal is 5.99%. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents for detailed Business Equity compliance information. The applicable documents must be submitted by all Proposers no later than the third City business day after Proposals are opened, exclusive of the opening date. Business Equity information may be submitted with the Proposal. Failure to submit the required business equity documentation will result in the Proposal being considered Non-Responsive. Non-Responsive proposals will not be reviewed further.
Proposers must submit a bid bond with their proposal. Prior to an award of contract, Proposer will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds and provide Contractors General Liability insurance and Statutory Workers Compensation Coverage.
