Solicitation Document Description: This RFT is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the “City”) to supply all materials, products, labour and supervision to complete Market Lane Park Improvements which include but are not limited to removals and demolition, water and sewer piping, new paving, custom fountain, large custom planter, park lighting and electrical service, site furnishings, irrigation, trees in the park, trees in the right of way with soil cells, new sidewalk and planting.

Chapter 5 of Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
Pre-Bid Meeting: Suppliers are required to attend a mandatory site meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project and ascertain the full extent of the Work required. The mandatory site meeting will take place March 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM local time at Market Lane Park, 149 King St. East, Toronto. Site meetings will not be available at any other times.

Suppliers must sign the attendance sheet at the mandatory site meeting during the designated date and time for their Bid to be considered.
Questions may be asked at the site meeting; however, they are not considered part of an official record and have no bearing on the terms of the contract unless they are submitted in writing to the City. A record of questions and answers from emails as deemed will be distributed in the form of an addendum and posted on the City's online call documents system.

Bids submitted by Suppliers that do not attend the mandatory site meeting or fail to sign the attendance sheet shall be declared non-compliant.
