This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Design, Testing and Supply of Lattice Steel Towers, as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).
SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.
It is SaskPower’s intent to enter into an agreement with one (1) Contractor for all activities relating to the design, prototype assembly test fit (where specified), full scale load test (where specified), and supply of lattice steel transmission towers, including the supply of foundation steel, galvanized bolts, nuts and fasteners. Specifically, the Requirements and Specifications are for a quantity of two (2) 230kV double circuit dead-end lattice steel transmission towers.
