The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a single firm-fixed-price contract for the design-bid-build Minor construction project #528-375, Parking Ramp Expansion at the Buffalo VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 3495 Bailey Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14215-1129.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Buffalo VAMC is seeking a general contractor to completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for construction of a parking structure addition as required by the drawings and specifications.
The purpose of this project is to construct an addition of two new parking levels to the top of the existing three-level parking structure. In addition to the 2-level expansion, the project will involve the construction of a new stair and elevator tower on the northwest side of the ramp, select modifications and improvements to adjacent grounds, and contractor-provided off-campus construction impact parking. Note, the scope of this project has been reduced since it was previously solicited.
ADMINISTRATIVE
