Description
Scope of work for CGC WAESCHE Scullery Sanitizer/Dishwasher
Purpose and objective:
CGC WAESCHE seeks to purchase replacement sanitizer/dishwasher to renew the failing equipment onboard.
Scope: WAESCHE is seeking commercial grade sanitizer/dishwasher that can withstand near constant use (approximately 6000 washes a month) on a ship that deploys world-wide and experiences heavy seas. The sanitizer/dishwasher needs to be able to support washing dishes for approximately 150 people for four meals a day. Additionally, the sanitizer/dishwasher need to be able to fit through non-tight and watertight doors on board the ship. The narrowest door is approximately 26” wide. Clearance height inside the scullery is approximately 78”. Currently the vessel primarily uses the high heat function on the sanitizer/dishwasher to sanitize dishes however a machine that can use detergent as well is permissible. Vessel is requesting a lease based agreement that includes the machinery and services. The proposed lease at a minimum must include the following items and lease pricing should reflect the requested services.

Installation of new equipment.

Removal of old unit.
-
All modifications to the surrounding area to fit the new unit.

Service calls to fix the newly installed unit.

Service calls to groom/check up on the installed unit.

Tele/video conference service calls for maintenance assistance when vessel is away from home port (Coast Guard Island Alameda, CA).

Training of ship’s crew to conduct maintenance when vessel is away from home port.

Lease/warranty cannot be voided if crew must work on machine while away from home port.

Additional common parts that fail for the vessel to take when away from home port, all required detergent and sanitizing chemicals for the equipment.

Provide the vessel flexibility to pay the lease either on a monthly or annual basis.
Vendors are encouraged but not required to make a site visit to verify measurements. The current installed sanitizer make and model is Insinger 50-20N2-NSU which is now discontinued.
Specifications for Sanitizer.

Able to operate with 440 VAC supplied. The current model installed is capable of operating with 440 VAC, 60 Hz, 3-phase. If a proposed sanitizer/dishwasher operates on 208 VAC contractor must provided detailed plan including the size, specs, and potential locations for the transformer to step voltage down from 440 VAC to 208 VAC. Additionally if the sanitizer operates with anything other than 3 phase power contractors must provide detailed description and plan on how to covert and properly use less than 3 phases.
The contractor shall:

Only provide the items outlined in the scope of work.

Provide quantity of 1 sanitizer/dishwasher.

If shipping is required, send unit to warehouse at;1 Eagle Road, BLDG 42, ATTN: WAE, Alameda, CA 94501

Begin work at the closure of the solicitation and award of the contract.

Required Delivery Date: Work must be completed by 8JUN25.
