In 2020 NAWCAD Lakehurst awarded more than $2.4 Billion in contract awards. There were a total of 6,726 contract actions that year alone. Lakehurst has continued to see the value in working alongside of small, women, minority, disadvantaged and veteran owned businesses throughout the years and has consistently exceeded their set-aside goals in business with women owned and disadvantaged small businesses. NAWCAD Lakehurst has shown its commitment to supporting small businesses over the preceding fiscal years with small business award amounts of: $577.5M (FY17), $826.3M (FY18) and $981.4M (FY19) and $1,158,238,912 in total obligations to Small Businesses (FY20).

This is the 12th Industry Day that NAWCAD LKE SBR has had the honor of presenting for NAWCAD since 2014!! Current and hopeful DOD Contractors fill the room every year! Coming from all over the country to attend this event! Why??? This annual event is the must attend for all contractors looking to either begin working with the NAVY or those looking to increase their business. This is historically a SOLD OUT event attended by over 200+ contractors from all over the country.

Still asking yourself WHY should you and your team plan to be there on June 11th 2025? It’s simple. This is the event contractors attend to hear directly from and meet the leadership, program managers, contracting personnel, team leads, small business professionals who are responsible helping to execute the mission. These are the Government Representatives who are tasked purchasing/procuring the goods and services required to support the NAWCAD mission day in day out.

The best word to describe Industry Day is OPPORTUNITY! This is the opportunity to learn how your organization can WIN contracts with NAWCAD Lakehurst. This is the opportunity to learn what Lakehurst procures (buys). This is the opportunity to learn what type of contract vehicles they use. This is the opportunity to hear about the focus of the mission. And the best part is, this is the opportunity to learn about upcoming requirements (contracts) directly from the individuals with the need.

If you’d like to know what to expect our agenda for this event is below. During the morning portion of Industry Day we will hear from NAWCAD Lakehurst Leadership, Small Business Representatives, Program Team Leads and Contracting Leads from the NAVY.

Then last but certainly not least we are excited to announce that our Matchmaking Program / One-on-Ones are back!!! Companies will be given the opportunity to sit down one-on-one with a NAWCAD LKE Representative (Program Lead, Program Manager, Contract Officer, or Contract Specialist) to present their capability statement. These are the individuals tasked with managing the assets and programs Lakehurst is responsible for. One-on-Ones will be brief (12 minutes in duration), giving your company enough time to present your capability statement, exchange contact information or ask a few questions.

**We will open up sign-ups for One-on-Ones to registered attendees closer to Industry Day. Companies who register for the 2025 NAWCAD LKE Industry Day will be notified via email when One-on-One registration will open. One-on-Ones will then be scheduled based on a first come first serve basis as there will not be enough spots available to guarantee all attendees can participate in this portion of Industry Day. So those who are interested in participating in One-on-Ones are encouraged to register early.

**The exhibit area will be open during that time to allow all attendees the opportunity to network and connect with sponsors, and resource partners.
