The City of Searcy, Arkansas, is seeking statements of quali?cations from ?rms interested in providing multi-use/multi-surface trail design and installation services for the 2025 Riverside Park Improvements project. To be considered, statements of quali?cations must be received at the Searcy Planning and Development Office, located at 300 West Arch Avenue, Searcy, Arkansas 72143, no later than 2:00 PM CST on June 5, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.
The statements of quali?cations should demonstrate the submitter’s ability to design a unique trail system for multiple uses and multiple levels of skill and ability. Trails should include both built elements as well as natural elements on site to provide multiple memorable trail moments unique to the character of Riverside Park. The trails shall be designed to be part of a system of both paved and unpaved surfaces that tie in to the City’s future Little Red Greenway trail system as well as serve as a standalone destination that creates an experience for visitors that connect people to both the river and natural environment. The statements should showcase the submitter’s expertise in installing varieties of trail types and elements in various locations and terrains.
Submissions shall be (8.5” x 11”) and should include photo examples of previous trail installations designed and installed by the submitter, highlighting memorable moments unique to each site and artistic transformations of the natural environment.

Submitters must be quali?ed to conduct business and licensed in accordance with all applicable state laws.
Each submission must include ?ve hard copies and one electronic copy on a ?ash drive.
The selected trail designer and installer will collaborate as part of the design team, alongside the Project Architect, Landscape Architect, Engineer, and City Staff to design and install the multi-use trails for the 2025 Riverside Park Improvements project.
The City of Searcy reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive irregularities. By submitting a proposal in response to this invitation, the proposer agrees to these conditions, with no liability on the part of the City of Searcy for such rejections.
