Project Description: The City of Sandy Springs is requesting a traffic engineering evaluation of the intersection of Heards Ferry Road at Riverside Drive and the intersection of River Valley Road at Riverside Drive along with the Riverside Drive roundabouts at I-285. The City is seeking to determine if signal and/or geometric modifications are needed or if an alternative design (i.e. roundabout) is feasible.
The Consultant shall provide a scope, schedule, and fee for a traffic study to determine the best type of intersection traffic control and lane configuration and prepare two concepts of intersection improvements.
