DESCRIPTION: The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (“MTA”) hereby issues this Request for Proposal for Fleet Management
Services (“RFP”) on behalf of itself and its operating agencies, which are: MTA New York City Transit (including MTA Staten Island
Railway and Manhattan and Bronx Surface Transit Operating Authority) and Staten Island Passenger Railroad Operations, MTA Long
Island Rail Road, MTA Metro-North Railroad, MTA Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority, and MTA Bus Company (“Operating
Agencies”). In the aggregate, the MTA spends approximately $23 million annually on Fleet Management Services distributed across
its Operating Agencies and their respective non-revenue fleets. These services include but may not be limited to: administration and
systematized tracking of Light, Medium, Heavy maintenance, repairs, roadside assistance and towing, data tracking and reporting,
telematics services and driver safety training and related coursework
