The County of Orange, Health Care Agency , (hereinafter referred to as County) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for CALIBRATION AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR MEDICAL EQUIPMENT . The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the County and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work. This is a fully electronic solicitation – only electronic bids submitted through the County’s online bidding system will be allowed; no other form of bid submittals will be accepted. Prior to submitting a bid, Bidders are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including the model contract and any solicitation attachments and/or exhibits.
The County of Orange Health Care Agency provides health services to many populations in a variety of different settings. Annual cleaning and calibration of several pieces of equipment for two (2) Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) programs
The Orange County Employee Health Services (EHS) department provides an array of services to help ensure that all Orange County (OC) employees are as fit and healthy as possible to perform their assigned tasks effectively and without risk to their own or other’s health and safety. One of their services is to provide respirator fit testing for employees. EHS has two TSI PortaCount Pro Respirator Fit Testers, Model 8038, that need annual cleaning and calibration service.
The Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) Safety Program conducts preliminary testing, analysis and monitoring of indoor work environments whenever HCA programs report air quality issues. Information will be provided to the County’s Industrial Hygienist for further evaluation, investigation and resolution. The equipment is utilized by the designated HCA Safety Program staff under the guidance and supervision of the County’s Industrial Hygienist. The HCA Safety Program requires annual calibration and cleaning services for instruments including, but not limited to, thermal cameras, temperature and humidity meters, moisture meters, VOC detectors, air sampling pumps, particulate monitors, and other types of indoor air quality meters.
