Solicitation Summary
The Maryland Department of Health (MDH) Potomac Center and Secure Evaluation & Therapeutic
Treatment (SETT) are seeking a Contractor to provide yearly cleaning and preventative maintenance
(PM) services on two (2) oil-fired one hundred twenty-five gallon (125-gal) commercial water
heaters, three (3) oil-fired eighty-four gallon (84-gal) commercial water heaters, ten (10) oil-fired
boilers, and one (1) oil-fired dual burner pool heater. All equipment is located at the Potomac Center,
1380 Marshall Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740. The contract term shall be three (3) years; work is to
initiate in September of 2025 and occur each August/September the following years (2026 and 2027). To
prevent delays in services due to long lead times on part delivery, in July of each year* (*starting the
second service year, as this solicitation is being posted in August), the Contractor shall conduct a site visit
to develop a list of parts to be ordered prior to initiating PM services in August* (*starting the second
service year, the initial service year will start in September).
