The City of Pontiac, Michigan, is seeking qualified and experienced environmental testing and engineering firms to provide professional services on an as-needed basis. The selected consultant(s) will support a variety of municipal projects, including, but not limited to, demolition activities, property abatements, infrastructure improvements, brownfield redevelopment, emergency response actions, and compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. Services will be performed in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal requirements, including those of the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The City of Pontiac owns and manages numerous properties and infrastructure assets that require environmental due diligence, testing, and oversight to ensure public health, safety, and regulatory compliance. Many of these properties involve legacy industrial uses, aging structures, or redevelopment initiatives that necessitate professional environmental assessment and engineering services.
