The CA Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation is looking for approximately 3,830 nusf of parole office space in the City of Eureka plus Ten (10) parking spaces to Code. Location must be at least ¿ mile from schools K-8th grade, parks and bus stops used exclusively for school children.
Buildings submitted must: 1) Be Asbestos Hazard-free upon occupancy; 2) Accommodate State plans, specifications, seismic safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable codes (California Building Code & Title 24); 3) Be close to public transportation; and 4) Comply with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise requirements. The State of California will, where cost effective, give preference to those buildings which demonstrate LEED or Energy Star compliance. Please refer to http://energystar.gov for further details.
