The Ector County ISD, School Nutrition Department is soliciting proposals forthe installation of generators for all kitchen operation walk in coolers and freezers. All installed equipment must include new equipment, on-site delivery, installation with required electrical work, set up, and training. Must be a turnkey project. An on-site visit by proposers will be required to verify sizes, plumbing, fencing, and electrical work for installation. Site visits are MANDATORY to all sites under the scope of work in order for proposal to be considered. Proposals will be received online only on this platform. Although the District does not restrict, by use of a brand name, it does have certain features, which seem desirable. Vendors bidding/proposing other than items listed will submit those items as alternates to the specified item explaining on the bid/proposal price sheet where it does not meet specifications. Complete specification, literature describing alternate product, and requested sample information MUST be attached to the bid/proposal price sheet on each item bid/proposed. The district reserves the right to make final decisions as to comparable items. Be very certain that items bid/proposed and delivered are EQUAL to items listed. Materials which are not equal will be returned to the supplier, transportation charges collect. Please evaluate all Specifications under each line item and the attachments tab.
