FOR THE CITY OF CASPER PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT
CITY ENGINEERING DIVISION
RFP DATE: April 29, 2026
ADDENDUM DATE: May 22, 2026
This addendum to the request for proposals is hereby made a part of the Contract Documents for the above
titled project, to the same extent as though it were originally contained therein.
All bidders are expected to thoroughly examine each item enumerated herein, regardless of its apparent
application and shall be responsible for furnishing all labor and materials required in the division of work
that the items indicate.
CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
In the SCOPE OF SERVICES section of the RFP, on page 2, under A. Design, between A.6.
and A.7., ADD:
“The Consultant shall design a rack for storing pumps that can hold up to ten pumps and can
be utilized with the selected design of the crane or hoist.”
In the TIMETABLE section of the RFP, on page 10, directly below the last bullet point, ADD:
“Completion of Construction: August 30, 2027
As a correction to the answer regarding cost estimates given in Addendum No. 1, REPLACE

estimate will be required at about 90% design for this project” WITH:
“A single cost estimate will be required for this project at about 90% design.”

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The following questions were asked by prospective Consultants and are summarized here with the
answers given by the City. This information is being provided to clarify the scope and details of the
project.
Proposed Schedule and Timeline
Question: Will a site plan review be necessary?
Answer: Yes. A site plan review with all required documentation and fees will be required (and are to
be included in the Consultant’s fees) for this project and will be coordinated by the Consultant.
Question: Will an air compressor need to be installed in the building?
Answer: No. Any need for compressed air can be met with a small, portable air compressor.
Question: What type of crane or hoist is preferred?
Answer: The crane or hoist is to be designed as an integral part of the building, and the building
design is to incorporate the structural demands of the crane or hoist. A bridge crane is assumed to be
the option most closely aligned with the project’s needs, though the City is open to alternatives.
Question: Will the overhead doors be powered?
Answer: Yes.
Question: Will there be single-phase or three-phase power to the building?
Answer: The design of electrical work in the building will determine whether single-phase or three-
phase power is the best option for the project. The Consultant will work with the City to determine the
power requirement, which the City would then work with Rocky Mountain Power to set up.
