Description


Purpose of Procurement
Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) is being issued to establish a contract with one or more qualified suppliers who will provide Kitchenware Smallwares to Georgia Southern University (hereinafter, the State Entity), a Unit of the University System of Georgia as further described in this eRFQ.  This RFQ will be awarded to multiple suppliers that are able to agree to requirements addressed in this bid and are able to be validated by USG SHARE Services. This contract would be for One (1) Year with Four (4) Optional Yearly Renewals.  There is no guarantee of the amount of purchases from your company.  This is for Georgia Southern University to have a pool of suppliers we can get quotes from and make purchases on an as needed basis to remain in compliance with state regulations.
The resulting contract will be available for use by other State of Georgia Institutions, Colleges, or other Georgia State Agencies upon approval of the awarded Supplier, the University System of Georgia, and the Department of Administrative services.
Georgia Southern University¿s intent would be to have the ability to purchase any item offered in the Suppliers Catalogs as well as placing special orders for non-stock items as needed. We are seeking percentage off list price you can offer.The discounts and warranty options will be advised at the time a quote is issued. All Equipment and Supplies must be new, commercial grade, and not refurbished or recycled.
Examples of Kitchen Smallwares we are looking to purchase as needed: Items used directly in food preparation, cookware, bake ware, baking supplies, pizza supplies, and serving supplies and dispensers, such as pots, pans, knives, cutlery, cutting boards, measuring cups, serving utensils, kitchen gadgets, small kitchen appliances, manual food processors, carts, sheet and bun pans, food storage containers, storage equipment, steam table pans, food preparation tools, bussing supplies, and mixing bowls.
