The New Bedford Housing Authority, the awarding authority, is requesting quotes from qualified Contractors to provide on-call, routine, and emergency response, TREE TRIMMING and REMOVAL work (NBHA-25-110) for a contract term of one (1) year. The Bid includes tree trimming and removal work to be performed on an as needed basis, in federally funded (HUD) public housing developments located in the city of New Bedford. Bid Documents are available from the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office 128 Union Street 4TH Floor New Bedford Massachusetts 02740. Bidders may obtain a set of Bid Documents by e-mailing their contact information to Kevin Rego, Procurement Agent, at; kevin.rego@nbha-ma.org. Sealed bids will be accepted, at the New Bedford Housing Authority Procurement Office 128 Union Street 4TH Floor New Bedford MA 02740, until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at which time and place bids will be opened, witnessed, recorded and the results distributed via e-mail thereafter. In accordance with Section 3 of the HUD act of 1968, as amended, opportunity for employment and contracting to the greatest extent feasible shall be given to Section 3 eligible residents and businesses.
