The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:

Solicitation Number: IFB# 2026-053, Main Lift Station Repairs

Project Scope: The scope of work for this project consists of repairs and improvements to the existing Main Lift Station. Major work elements include replacement of existing discharge piping within the wet well, improvements to the bypass pumping connection piping with installation of new valves, and implementation of temporary construction bypass pumping to maintain continuous operation of the lift station during construction. The project also includes supplemental bid items for concrete coating repairs to be performed if authorized. The estimated construction cost of this project is $1,026,000.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference for this Project will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 2:00 PM, Local Time via video conferencing. Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference. Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, September 1, 2026, City Council meeting, at 6:00 PM, or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
