Summary
The purpose of this bid is to procure approximately 1,542 linear feet of HESCO Floodline 4836 or equivalent flood barrier for Pierce County Planning and Public Works. This product is needed by the middle of October 2026.
Background
In late 2025, the County was tasked with constructing the Sumner Rainer Manor sandbag wall in the city of Sumner to protect against flooding. That sandbag wall must now be replaced, and County Engineers have identified the herein-mentioned units as a suitable replacement product to ensure public safety. Any proposed equivalent products must meet County engineering standards and receive approval from County Engineers before contract execution.
