Description
Oregon State University intends to contract for the provision of a transmitter for a SeaSonde to sense ocean surface currents from CODAR Ocean Sensors LTD as a sole source because of its ability to meet compatibility requirements of an existing line of equipment and the contractor being the sole manufacturer and provider of the equipment. OSU has a transmitter that needs replaced and it must be fully compatible with a SeSonde receiver. The two components must operate seamlessly with each other to provide the measurement accurately. SeaSonde is proprietary to CODAR and is the sole distributor. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website. Appeals must be submitted to the Office of Procurement, Payment and Travel at
