Project Description: The work generally consists of: construction of a new floor housing a new consolidated healthcare unit within an existing unfinished lowest floor of a portion of an existing building. This unused portion of the building is currently used as miscellaneous storage. Work includes architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, telecom and security work for new health care cells, suicide watch cells, day rooms, exam rooms, etc. Mechanical yard and electrical transformer exterior of the renovated floor will be added in addition to a new sallyport and elevator to reach the second floor. Other work includes installing new electrical service, painting, new floor drains, new plumbing, new concrete slab/walls, new electrical outlets/lights, new security controls, new walls, new holding cells and including incidental work as shown on drawings and specifications.
