Professional Auditor Services

The City of Hiram, Georgia is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from licensed Certified Public Accounting firms to provide professional auditing services for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2026, with the option of annual renewals for up to five (5) years. The selected firm will conduct an independent audit of the City¿s financial statements in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and all applicable state and federal requirements.
Interested firms must submit the following: (1) cover letter expressing interest and understanding of the scope; (2) firm profile, including size, location, and areas of expertise; (3) resumes of key personnel assigned to the engagement; (4) list of Georgia municipal clients served in the past five years; (5) three references from municipal clients; (6) description of audit approach and timeline; and (7) fee structure and estimated cost for the first year of service.
One (1) electronic PDF and five (5) hard copies of the SOQ must be submitted by the deadline indicated in the RFQ document to: City of Hiram, Attn: Jackie Pryor, Finance Manager, 217 Main St., Hiram, GA 30141, or via email to jpryor@hiram-ga.gov. Late submissions will not be considered.
The City of Hiram reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive informalities, and negotiate with the most qualified firm. The full RFQ may be obtained from the City of Hiram Finance Department.
