Project Description:

Preconstruction Termite Soil Treatment for a newly constructed 3 bedroom, 3
bath dwelling being built in Hilo, Hawai’i, TMK: (3) 2-1-021-108:0000, 399 Desha
Avenue, Hilo, HI (MH #57) dwelling. Refer to General Conditions for sizing of
house pad and structure orientation.

Fumigation of cabinets are to be done on Manono Campus site, located at 1175
Manono Street.

Notes

Must provide Certificate of Liability Insurance.

Submit Professional Vocational License.

Only licensed contractors will be awarded.

Contractor shall provide pre-construction soil termite treatment for the 2026-2027
Hawai’i Community College Model Home, a 3 bedroom, 3 bath single story dwelling; and
fumigation of cabinets on Manono Campus Site, located at 1175 Manono Street. Must comply
with Technical Specifications, General conditions and contract drawings (See Attached
drawings-upon request).

Quote must include all applicable fees. Incomplete quotes will not be accepted. Bidder
must provide pre-construction soil termite treatment and fumigation of cabinets. Please

reneedc@hawaii.edu, or call (808) 936-6898. Bidder’s quote will be valid until May 31,
2027.

Contractor shall guarantee materials and workmanship until May 31, 2027. Any defects
caused by workmanship or materials shall be corrected by the contractor at not extra cost
to the University.

Construction of the Model Home will start in the Spring of 2026.

NOTE: Upon award of Super Quote, winning bidder must be able to provide Certificate of
Vendor Compliance. (Under HRS 103D-310 (c), for purchases of $2,500 or more, the
University of Hawai’i must verify vendor compliance with all laws governing entities
doing business in the State of Hawaii). For more information relating to registering and

The Certificate of Vendor compliance must be available at the time of award or award will
go to the next low bidder who meets specifications.
