This event is hosted by USACE – Charleston and Savannah Districts



The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston and Savannah Districts, invites interested industry partners to attend a Virtual Industry Day to discuss upcoming FY27 construction projects at the Savannah River Site (SRS) and for the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in South Carolina.



This event is designed to provide valuable insight into anticipated construction opportunities at SRS and FLETC—areas that requires heightened security protocols and specialized access procedures. Participants will gain an understanding of project scopes, technical requirements, acquisition strategies, and unique operational considerations associated with working on-site.



Event Highlights:




  • Overview of upcoming procurement opportunities

  • Technical presentations outlining project scope and anticipated challenges

  • Q&A session with USACE representatives (Lessons Learned, USACE feedback)

  • Discussion of contractor engagement and expectations (PLA’s, security requirements, construction free zones, etc.)

  • Discussion of anticipated procurement methods (Design Build to Budget (DB2B), Progressive Design Build, and other collaborative acquisition strategies)

Construction contractors, engineers, and other industry professionals who are well-established and have a keen understanding of working with the federal government.

FLETC CHS, Trade & Cargo Academy – Construct a new trade and cargo training facility – $25-40M (Base + option)

SRS, New Emergency Operations Building (EOC) – Construct a new EOC – $40-60M Design Build to Budget (DB2B)

FLETC CHS, Multi-Level Training Complex – Construct a new multi-level range and training complex -$45-65M (DB2B)

FLETC CHS, ADAL Dining Hall – Renovate existing Dining Hall – $5-15M

SRS, Y810 Maintenance Building – Construct a new Maintenance Building - $20-40M

FLETC Glynco, Driving Range Updates - Modifying Driving Ranges to support additional training scenarios, roundabout/ T-intersection/ and fixing drainage issues. $8-16M (DBB)
