Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued, and quotations will not be requested.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Purchasing and Contracts on behalf of the Critical Care Medicine Department (CCMD) intends to award a firm fixed price Purchase Order to 10X Genomics, Inc, located in Pleasanton, California 94588-3260 on a sole source basis to provide 10X Genomics Reagents.

The Critical Care Medicine Department is currently engaged in a project focused on the Early Detection of Lung Diseases (EDLI). The 10X Genomics Chromium 5' v2 Kit enables high-resolution gene expression profiling, immune repertoire analysis, and other advanced applications essential for identifying early biomarkers and understanding the molecular mechanisms behind both infectious and noninfectious lung diseases. The benefits of this technology have been consistently validated through multiple studies. To ensure accurate results, only proprietary reagents, consumables, and components from 10X Genomics, Inc. should be used with the existing instrumentation located within CCMD. Using incompatible reagents may damage the equipment and lead to incorrect test outcomes. To ensure the continuity and integrity of the research project, it is crucial to procure 10X Genomics reagents to support patient care.
