1. Replace 2-ton and 4-ton split system – Central Supply
• The Holyoke School Department is soliciting quotes for the removal and replacement
of the existing 2-ton and 4-ton split system that serves the Facilities Director's offices and
IT Department offices, Central Supply, 728 Main Street, 3rd Floor, Holyoke, MA 01040.
Remove and replace the existing 2-ton and 4-ton split system HVAC units. Scope
includes installation of new gas furnaces, matching cased evaporator coils, and outdoor
condensing units. The new condensing units shall be relocated to the indoor warehouse
area as specified, including full repiping of refrigerant lines to accommodate the new
layout. Refrigeration piping will be properly supported, insulated, and installed in
accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards. Scope also includes
installation of new electrical components and wiring to serve both condensing units,
ensuring all electrical work complies with applicable codes. Gas piping shall be modified
and repiped as required to properly serve the new furnace equipment, including all
necessary fittings, isolation valves, and leak testing.

morrowj@holyoke.org
● Electronic submissions will be accepted at morrowj@holyoke.org no later
than July 21st, 2:30 pm.
• Non-Mandatory but highly recommended, a pre-bid walkthrough will be held
on July 10th at 2:00 pm. Meet at the front door of 728 Main Street, then we will
head upstairs to the 3rd floor.
All work is expected to be neat, clean, and in a professional workman-like manner.
The job site will be left clean and free of debris generated from this project.
Any dust and/or debris must be cleaned, and there will be no exceptions.
