Summary
Kayak Pond Area - Landscaping Maintenance and Planting Services at Ohio State Fairgrounds
Plants and Mulch In addition to labor/services, the vendor will provide an estimate and a list of all plant materials, as well as mulch for the kayak pond bed(s). A mix of annuals with a patriotic (Red, White, and Blue) theme/accent is required. These may include purple, red, white petunia, blue salvia, geranium etc.) Also include cost/yardage of mulch and the application. Maintenance and Health of Plantlife Ohio State Parks requires the vendor to support the health and beauty of the plant life and the surrounding area for the duration of the project. The contractor should plan on monitoring the weather/heat index and appropriately water and care for the landscaping through the end of the fair. Spring/Fall Clean-Up and Fair Preparation For the 2026 event year, the contracted Supplier shall provide the following services: Spring Clean-Up ( Spring) Pre-Fair Planting and Mulching (July) Irrigation System Services Supplier shall manage the irrigation system for the Kayak Pond garden beds as follows: Damage Prevention: Pruning and Hedging
