Mount Easter Roadwork Phase 1 - Housatonic State Forest
The DEEP Division of Forestry is seeking proposals for drainage improvements on Mount Easter Road from its southern terminus at West Cornwall Road north to its intersection with Pine Swamp Road, and on the first 300 feet of Pine Swamp Road. Broad-based dips are the preferred drainage structure where possible due to low maintenance costs, but cross-drain culverts will likely be necessary in some places. Initial road resurfacing will have been completed by the time this project begins.
