Description
The Ministry is seeking one (1) Buy BC Chef Ambassador to serve as a representative and advocate for Buy BC food and beverage products. The Proponent will primarily be responsible for developing recipes and producing cooking demonstrations and producer/processor storytelling videos to be posted on the Buy BC website, Buy BC Instagram, and their own Instagram account. The Ministry is expanding the scope of the chef ambassador to also include visiting B.C. farms and food producers to capture content on site and participating in occasional grocery and industry events to deliver live cooking demonstrations to an audience.
The Ministry is seeking a Proponent who possesses expertise in cooking with locally sourced ingredients, has strong content production skills, an engaging presence, and an ability to communicate effectively to advance Buy BC goals. The Ministry is seeking proposals from individuals or small teams with a passion for local food, strong storytelling abilities, and a track record of producing engaging content for online audiences.
The anticipated term of the Contract is for one year with option to renew. Contract would start in June 2025 and end in June 2026.
