This is a solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation Number 70Z08526R3D007B00 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP) for an Open Inspect-Repair service acquisition requirement supporting the United States Coast Guard owned Carver Pump units and components.
This acquisition is not set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

To receive an award, the Contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov.
The Government contemplates award of a Requirements contract resulting from this solicitation, with firm fixed-price task orders, on the basis of other than full and open competition with authorized Carver Pump distributor, K&M Industrial, LLC.

No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the opening/closing date.
All brand-name assemblies (parts and components) provided must support the various USCG-owned Carver Pump units that are currently installed on the WMSL cutter fleet, including any spare parts (that are installed). These parts will support the recurring maintenance requirements for the various Carver Pump units that are currently installed on the USCG WMSL cutter fleet. The full list of parts comprising the scope of this requirement is contained within the Attachment 1 – “Repair Specification Carver Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps” and Attachment 2 - "Carver Pump Repair Schedule of Supplies.”
NOTE: NO SUBSTITUTE OR ALTERNATE PARTS WILL BE CONSIDERED. NO DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS OR SCHEMATICS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. Reference Section 3.1 – General of Attachment 1 – Repair Specification Carver Self-Priming Centrifugal Pumps.
