MICRO - C 2000/ MCI- SBR Procurement

The successful bidder will furnish and deliver approximately 18,000 gallons of Micro-C 2000 annually at MCI-WWTP in Hagerstown, MD. Deliveries will occur on a bi-monthly basis depending on the facility and are estimated at 1,500 to 2,000 gallons per delivery. The quantity of the 18,000 gallons of Micro-C 2000 for a year is an estimate. Maryland Environmental Service reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount of the product that is ordered. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, components, materials, tools and appurtenances necessary for the proper performance and completion of this contract in the manner specified, for the specific price, and to the satisfaction of the Maryland Environmental Service. Maryland Environmental Services is soliciting a turnkey service for the addition of Micro-C 2000 as a carbon source to assist in denitrification at its MCI-WWTP located at the addresses mentioned above.

NOTE: MES will only accept Electronic Bids on MES Procurement Portal ( https://menv.bonfirehub.com/ ).  Mailed, Emailed, Faxed, or Hand Delivered (paper) bids will not be accepted.  Requested Information on the MES Procurement Portal must be submitted on or before the bid due date, Submission option will not be available after the bid due date. Bidders may follow-up with the procurement department procurement@menv.com to determine if their Bids were received on time.

Conditioning a bid or proposal or any other MES solicitation or bidding document will deem your bid or proposal non-responsive and not be accepted COMAR 21.05.02.22.

Bids will be opened electronically in public at the date and time specified in the solicitation.  Bidders can attend the bid opening though the shared link provided in this solicitation.
The Bid Tabulation shall be posted on MES Procurement Portal within 48 hours from the bid opening.
