Title: SR 132 Project: Board, Fence, and Signage for Properties Scheduled for Demolition
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 3/20/2026
Due Date: 4/9/2026
This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is issued by the Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) to select up to three (3) qualified firms to provide on-call boarding, fencing, and signage for scheduled demolitions of structures. The selected firm(s) will enter into a professional services agreement for an initial term of three (3) years, with one (1) optional year extension at the sole discretion of StanCOG. The total cumulative compensation under each contract shall not exceed $500,000 for the duration of the contract, including any extensions.
This is a multi-award solicitation. StanCOG intends to create a pool of up to three (3) contractors to provide services on an as-needed basis. Specific projects, deliverables, and fees will be negotiated via individual Task Orders throughout the contract term. StanCOG makes no guarantee that any specific amount of work or compensation will be awarded to a contractor.
StanCOG has acquired housing units in preparation for the future construction of highway improvements on State Route 99 and State Route 132.
This project involves providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to board up all building entrances, install temporary perimeter fencing, and install “No Trespassing” and other applicable warning signage for up to forty-five (45) properties located along the eastern portion of SR 132 and along the western and eastern portions of SR 99 and SR 132 (see attached map).
The purpose of this effort is to secure vacant properties and mitigate public safety, security, and liability risks during the interim period prior to demolition to facilitate planned highway improvements.
Once the work is completed, StanCOG intends to have all properties environmentally tested in preparation of razing any structures on the properties, and contractors will be notified of any potentially hazardous conditions. Due to the potential risks, all the work performed should be non-invasive.
Costs for each property will be negotiated based on the size and scope of work.
