Project Description: The Municipality of Norristown, Montgomery County, PA, invites proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of a multihead surveillance camera with PTZ capability at the intersection of Marshall Street & Markley Street.
This project is financed through the U.S. Department of Justice Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program, administered by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD). The project’s purpose is to enhance public safety and integrate new surveillance capacity into Norristown’s existing Genetec Security Center Video Management System (VMS).
The selected contractor will enter into a lump sum contract for full turnkey delivery: furnishing, installing, configuring, and testing all equipment and related components.
