Project Description: The Municipality of Norristown invites sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the turnkey installation of one (1) License Plate Reader (LPR) system at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Ford Street. This project is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Justice Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program, and the selected contractor must comply with all JAG grant requirements, federal procurement rules, and reporting obligations.
The purpose of this project is to deploy advanced LPR technology to improve public safety, deter crime, support investigations, and enhance traffic enforcement in Norristown.
The Municipality is seeking a subscription service model for this service.
