Water Filter Greensand Media Replacement, Contract 2025-1

Project Description: Sealed Bids will be received electronically via PennBid by the Municipal Authority of Conneaut Lake for the Water Filter Greensand Media Replacement project, Contract 2025-1, until 3:00 p.m. on January 13, 2025, at which time they will be opened electronically and a summary posted to the PennBid website.
The Work for Contract 2025-1 is generally described as replacement of manganese greensand water filter media in two six foot diameter filter vessels.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to Municipal Authority of Conneaut Lake, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to 10% of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.
The Contractor must abide by all laws and regulations applicable to publicly funded contracts, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
