INVITATION TO BID

Sealed unit price bids will be received by the City of Cochran, Georgia from prospective
contractors for the City of Cochran, Georgia: Ash Street Park project. The work consists of
furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services required
for a complete project. The project is located on the Peacock Street in Cochran, Georgia. This
project includes, but is not limited to, traffic control, erosion and sediment control, clearing,
grading, stormwater and sewer utility installation and landscaping within the project limits in
accordance with the Contract Documents for the City of Cochran: Peacock Street
Stormwater Improvements.
The City of Cochran, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 78 Stat.
252, 42 USC 2000d¿42 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of
Transportation, Subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, part 21, hereby notifies all bidders that it
will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement,
minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to
this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or
national origin in consideration for an award.
All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in
writing to the Owner¿s Representative, Attention: James Jones via email at jjones@fdcllc.
com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Owner in response to such
questions will be issued by Addenda and recorded by Owner as having received the Bidding
Documents. Questions received after 5:00 PM local time on Monday, November 10, 2025
may not be answered. Sealed Bids will be received by the
City of Cochran at 112 West Dykes Street, Cochran, GA 31014 until 2:00 PM local time,
Thursday, November 20, 2025.
