Description
The City of Maple Ridge (the “City”) requests Proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide a strategy and implementation plan to develop or attract events that are consistent with the City’s recently launched Brand and Visual identity; the value statements of: Bold by Nature, A City on the Move, Driven by Community embody the City of Maple Ridge, and we are aiming to showcase and develop events in the community to reinforce those statements.
The City is interested in getting more formulaic on our approach to develop or attract new events for our community residents; to showcase the community to the Vancouver metro region, and to build awareness with national and global tourists who can be introduced to quality events, dynamic friendly local businesses, and spectacular natural environments.
Maple Ridge is focused on how it can continue to showcase its future oriented and thoughtful approach to events and entertainment in the City. A strategy and implementation plan considering what event infrastructure can be provided by the City, what events can be attracted into the City with minimal city resources required, and overall providing exceptional experiences for multiple audiences is a focus for this Strategy and Implementation plan. Two major components include – a strategy document, and a related implementation plan which is tangible and actionable.
