307 & Old Salt Creek Road Bridges - Construction of Modular Bridge

Engineering – Eagle County is soliciting proposals from contractors to perform the bridge replacement of the 307 Road Bridge over the Brush Creek, and the bridge re-decking of the Old Salt Creek Road Bridge also over the Brush Creek in Eagle County, Colorado.  The scope of services on the 307 Road Bridge includes but is not limited to, the removal of the existing bridge structure, the installation of a steel modular vehicular bridge structure, ancillary earthwork, and other miscellaneous construction items.  The scope of services on the Old Salt Creek Road Bridge includes but is not limited to, the removal of the existing bridge deck, installation of new bridge deck panels, abutment wall reinforcement, ancillary earthwork, and other miscellaneous construction items.  This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) will be non-exclusive.  Eagle County reserves the right to purchase supplies or services from other professionals.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held in person and virtually on

WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2025 beginning at 1:00 PM MDT in the Main Eagle County Room of the Eagle County Building, 500 Broadway, Eagle, Colorado, 81631. The deadline for written questions pertaining to the project must be submitted by WEDNESDAY, MAY 21, 2025 at 4:00 pm MDT.

The last Addendum with responses to written questions will be posted on Open Eagle County website: https://www.eaglecounty.us/openeaglecounty/rfpsandrfqs by WEDNESDAY, MAY 28, 2025 at 4:00 pm MDT.

Proposals must be received by U.S. mail to the Eagle County Engineering Department, P.O. Box 850, Eagle, CO 81631or by FedEx, UPS, DHL, or hand delivered to the Eagle County Engineering Department at 500 Broadway, Eagle, CO 81631on or before 4:00 pm MDT, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4, 2025 . Any proposal received after this time will not be considered and will be returned to the respondent unopened unless good cause is shown as determined by Eagle County in its sole discretion.
